The Arc of Buffalo County is partnering with Nebraska Total Care and the Nutrition Education Program to encourage physical activity among its young members during the month of August. Registration is open now and ends July 30. The event is geared towards Arc members in Middle School and younger but open to anyone that wishes to participate.
Participants will be encouraged to set a daily activity goal and track their activity over 30 days with the end goal of completing a 26.2 miles, the length of one marathon.
