The Arc of Buffalo County is a private non-profit organization which provides services and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities and their families. We provide information, support and networking to people with disabilities and their families through a bi-monthly newsletter, one-on-one contacts, group presentations and a variety of programs including:
- Painting Pals
- Adult Craft Classes monthly
- Free Respite for our member families at the Kearney Area Children’s Museum every 1st Thursday, 6-8pm
- Line Dancing Classes
- Swim Club & Fishing Club in the summer months
- Parent Group meetings 3rd Monday 6:30pm monthly -open to any interested parent
- Buddy Bowling 8 week sessions in Fall & Spring
- Cooking Classes
- Individualized recreation and Respite for all ages
- Dances, picnics, and outings
