DAYcation Trips provide opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to get out of Kearney to enjoy museums, entertainment venues, community celebrations, and educational and other fun activities across Nebraska.
People First of Kearney is part of a state advocacy organization for adults with developmental disabilities. This program helps members learn how to speak out and have the confidence to see themselves as People First-their disability second. People First meets the 4th Thursday of each month from 4-5:00 pm at the Kearney Manor Pavilion. Those interested in attending are encouraged to call the Arc of Buffalo County office to verify the meeting time and location.
