Announcing our New Interim Executive Director
The Arc of Buffalo County is delighted to announce Renee Herrman as our new interim Executive Director.
“The board of directors is pleased to have Renee at the helm while the organization transitions to new leadership and programs. We have a lot planned to accomplish this year, and we will continue to serve our constituents and our mission with the highest standards.” – Brad Driml, Arc Board President.
Mrs. Herrman is a former Arc employee and recently served on the Arc Board of Directors. Married with six children, two with disabilities including autism and a traumatic brain injury, Renee has extensive experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Including all the joy and challenges people and their families face.
“We’re confident Renee can lead The Arc in our mission to help children and adults with developmental disabilities secure the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they want to live, learn, work, and play.” – Sara Frias, Arc Board Secretary.
Mrs. Herrman will graduate in March with her bachelor’s degree in non-profit management.
The Arc of Buffalo County advocates for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Together with our network of members and affiliated chapters, we improve systems of supports and services, connect families and inspire our community.
