The Arc of Buffalo County Hosts “Santa’s Workshop”
A Free Holiday Gift-Making Event for the Community
Kearney, NE — The Arc of Buffalo County invites families and community members to celebrate the season of giving at Santa’s Workshop, a free, festive holiday event on Saturday, December 20, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Family Life Center in Kearney.
Santa’s Workshop offers attendees the opportunity to create and wrap a special gift for loved ones, spreading joy, creativity, and connection during the holidays. The event is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for individuals of all ages and abilities. This year’s event is generously sponsored by Spartan Roofing, whose support helps ensure the workshop remains free and accessible to the entire community.
“We are excited to provide a warm, hands-on holiday experience that brings people together,” said Jordan Squiers, board President for The Arc of Buffalo County. “Santa’s Workshop is about more than gifts, it’s about connection, inclusion, and making meaningful memories during the holiday season.”
All supplies for gift-making and wrapping will be provided while they last. Families are encouraged to stop by anytime during the event window.
